Prospective team members can expect to join a company involved in end-to-end logistics operations with opportunities to contribute to efficient and compliant movement of goods.Role Description The Head Customs Documentation / Operation is a full-time, on-site position based in Navi Mumbai. This role oversees all customs documentation activities, including preparation, verification, and submission of export and import paperwork in line with regulatory requirements. The role involves coordinating with customs authorities, freight forwarders, internal teams, and clients to ensure timely clearances and smooth cargo movement. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring compliance, resolving documentation or clearance issues, optimizing operational workflows, and maintaining accurate records for audits and reporting. The position also requires leading and mentoring the customs operations team, implementing best practices, and supporting continuous improvement in efficiency and service quality.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Customs Brokerage skills, including familiarity with customs procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements.Candidates should possess skills in Export and Import operations, with hands-on experience in end-to-end Import Export processes.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with authorities, clients, and internal stakeholders.Relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation operations, especially in customs clearance, is beneficial.Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making abilities are advantageous.Attention to detail, problem-solving capability, and proficiency in using documentation preferred.A bachelor’s degree in logistics, commerce, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is desirable.
