Head – Global Commodity Trading & Structured Trade Finance

WE’RE HIRING | HEAD – GLOBAL COMMODITY TRADING & STRUCTURED TRADE FINANCE | DUBAI, UAEJLC Global FZE is looking for an experienced senior professional to build, originate and scale a profitable international commodity trading platform from Dubai.This is not a conventional trade-finance operations role. We are looking for a business builder and deal originator who can bring genuine, profitable back-to-back business, develop new trade flows, arrange financing and take responsibility for transactions from origination through final settlement.The successful candidate will work closely with the promoters and will have significant scope to build the business.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Originate and bring profitable back-to-back commodity business through an established network of international buyers, suppliers and offtakers• Identify and develop new commodity trading opportunities and increase the company’s revenue and profitability• Build recurring trade flows rather than one-off transactions• Independently structure and handle LCs, SBLCs, back-to-back LCs and other trade-finance instruments• Develop relationships with international banks and financial institutions and work towards enhancing trade-finance facilities and credit lines• Structure receivables financing, borrowing-base facilities, inventory finance, prepayment/offtake structures and supply-chain finance• Develop relationships with trade-finance funds, private-credit providers, credit insurers and other non-bank financiers• Negotiate purchase and sales contracts, payment terms, Incoterms and financing structures• Manage transactions end-to-end — sourcing, sale/offtake, contracts, finance, LC documentation, logistics, inspection, title transfer, settlement and collection• Establish strong risk-management, counterparty-credit and transaction-approval systems• Build SOPs and subsequently develop the trading, finance and operations team in DubaiCOMMODITY EXPERIENCEStrong experience and an existing network in one or more of the following is preferred:Metals & Minerals | Iron Ore | Chrome Ore | Manganese | Coal | Scrap | Billets | Pig Iron | Ferroalloys | Fertilizers | Sulphur | PolymersExperience across Africa, Middle East, India, China and other major international commodity corridors would be highly valuable.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORThe candidate should ideally have 12–18+ years of relevant experience with an established commodity trading house, international bank, structured commodity finance institution or similar organisation.Most importantly, candidates must demonstrate a real track record of originating profitable physical commodity transactions and successfully financing and executing them.An existing network of buyers, suppliers, banks, commodity financiers and other counterparties will be a significant advantage.COMPENSATION & ENTREPRENEURIAL OPPORTUNITYCompetitive fixed salary + performance-linked bonus.For an exceptional candidate who successfully builds and scales the business, profit-sharing opportunities may also be offered.We want the right individual to participate meaningfully in the value they create.Location: Dubai, UAECompany: JLC Global FZEPosition: Head – Global Commodity Trading & Structured Trade FinanceThis is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial commodity professional to work directly with the promoters and build a substantial international trading business from Dubai.Interested candidates may send their detailed profile to:jlcglobal@aniveergroup.comAll applications and discussions will be treated confidentially.#Hiring #DubaiJobs #CommodityTrading #TradeFinance #StructuredTradeFinance #CommodityFinance #MetalsTrading #FertilizerTrading #SulphurTrading #GlobalTrade #PhysicalTrading #TradeFinanceJobs #UAEJobs #Commodities
