This role oversees the company’s infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, end user services, and vendor ecosystem to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable technology operations. The position also drives continuous improvement, governance, and alignment of IT services with business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesA. Infrastructure & Operations Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, cloud services, and end‑user environments.Monitor system performance and conduct regular health checks across hardware, software, and network components.Oversee UAT, Production, and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments to ensure resilience and business continuity. Business Continuity Planning.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to systems, networks, servers, and applications.Drive system and process improvements, including workflow optimisation and automation.Recommend scalable and secure IT solutions aligned with business requirements.Support escalated operational issues and lead in IT‑related projects and initiatives.Ensure proper administration of Microsoft 365, user access management, and IT security controls.Oversee cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and manage overall enterprise architecture.B. Cybersecurity & GovernanceImplement and enforce IT governance, cybersecurity policies, and disaster recovery procedures.Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of IT security policies, procedures, and guidelines.Conduct regular security risk assessments and prepare system security risk profiles.Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats, ensuring timely corrective actions.Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and internal governance requirements.Apply and govern specific industry frameworks, including cybersecurity (ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443) and IT governance (COBIT, ITIL).C. Digital Strategy & TransformationDevelop and execute the overarching enterprise digital strategy and innovation roadmap aligned with corporate objectives.Drive digital transformation initiatives across the organisation to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and business performance.D. Enterprise Systems & ERP ManagementDirect and oversee the end-to-end system integration, deployment, and continuous improvement of the corporate ERP system, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring alignment with core business functions and operations.Manage the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem, leading cross-functional integration efforts, workflow optimisations, and ensuring the platform scales with business growth.Oversee the design, development, implementation, and lifecycle management of other enterprise applications and digital solutions to ensure they deliver measurable business value.E. Data, Analytics & Artificial IntelligenceDevelop and execute the enterprise data and AI strategy, governing data platforms, data quality, and advanced analytics capabilities.Identify, evaluate, and implement AI and Generative AI solutions to improve productivity and business outcomes.Promote responsible AI practices, ensuring appropriate governance, ethics, and risk management.F. Vendor & Commercial ManagementManage IT procurement, licensing, maintenance contracts, and vendor relationships.Oversee external systems integrators and ERP vendors specifically related to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment, ensuring successful project delivery and adherence to service level agreements Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service levels are met.G. Leadership, Financial & Service ManagementLead and supervise the internal IT team, coordinate IT resources, and monitor helpdesk performance and service response times.Set clear service standards, identify improvement areas, and track productivity.Manage departmental budgets, long-term technology roadmaps, and resource planning.Collaborate with business leaders to align technology investments with strategic priorities.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.8–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or IT operations, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or team‑lead capacity.Strong background in vendor management, IT project delivery, and cybersecurity controls.Proven capability in leading technology transformation initiatives, digital innovation, and enterprise data governance.Demonstrated experience managing complex ERP implementations and system integrations, with mandatory hands‑on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365.Solid understanding of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs) and experience configuring routers, switches, and firewalls.Proficiency in Windows Server and Windows desktop environments, including server administration, virtualisation, enterprise architecture management, and major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, security monitoring tools, and familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443, COBIT, and ITIL.Experience in database administration, performance optimisation, monitoring, and data backup/recovery practices.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with hands‑on experience in technical support, troubleshooting, and IT ticketing/helpdesk systems.Practical understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, machine learning concepts, and advanced data management, with the ability to adapt and continuously upskill.High‑level proficiency in ERP architecture, particularly within Microsoft Dynamics 365, including module integration and customisation oversight.Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Demonstrated leadership, team management capability, and a strong service‑ and compliance‑oriented mindset.Exposure to oil & gas or energy industry environments is an added advantage.
