The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:Manage dining reservations and special services according to Restaurant Reservations SOP, providing knowledgeable assistance to guests.Maintain high standards of personal presentation and professionalism in all interactions with customers and colleagues.Ensure proper manning of hostess desk/door to provide friendly and prompt welcomes to all guests.Assist colleagues as needed to achieve designated work goals, fostering teamwork and collaboration.Stay informed of hotel events, city information, menu specials, and relevant job-related updates through daily review of notice boards and briefing sheets.Contribute to marketing activities and initiatives to achieve desired results and increase market share for the Outlet.About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:One or two years of experience in the same role with a luxury 5-star property; experience in the UAE is desirable, but not mandatory.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Opera (Cloud).Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.Confident in successfully handling complaints of various severity.About the BenefitsAt Jumeirah, we are dedicated to fostering a workplace where colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
