Head Hostess - Seasonal

Bringing you cool elegance from the shores of Cannes and Miami, this seaside spot is vibrant by day and energetic by night.We are looking for an experienced Head Hostess to supervise our reception operations, owning the guest arrival experience end-to-end and supporting broader front-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage all reception operations, acting as the point of authority at the front desk during service.Lead, schedule, and train the Hostess team, ensuring consistent service standards at the door.Oversee guest arrival flow, phone/email inquiries, waitlist management, and walk-in handling during peak periods.Manage table status and seating allocation in real time, resolving bottlenecks during high-volume periods.Coordinate closely with Reservations, Guest Relations, Floor, and Bar teams to align guest flow with operational capacity.Handle VIP arrivals directly when the Guest Relations Manager is unavailable, ensuring no guest is left unmanaged at the door.Resolve escalated guest concerns and complaints at reception, involving management only when necessary.Support wider operational needs as directed by management — including shift coverage, reporting, and event-day coordination.Maintain a polished, professional standard and presence at the entrance at all times.Ideal Candidate:Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Hostess within hotels, restaurants, or high-end hospitality venues, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.Strong leadership, decision-making, and multitasking skills, particularly under high-volume, fast-paced conditions.Comfortable using reservation/table management systems and handling reception-level operational responsibility.Confident, guest-facing manner suited to a premium venue, with the composure to handle VIP situations independently when needed.Good English communication skills; Arabic, French, or Russian an advantage.Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
