Strategic Stakeholder & Government EngagementLead strategic engagement efforts with Ministries, LEAs, regulators, industry players, NGOs and statutory bodies to advance MCMC’s mandate and strengthen national digital governance partnerships.2. Plan and lead law enforcement agencies (LEAs) engagement initiativesPlan, lead and oversee structured promotional and capacity-building programmes, briefings, and outreach sessions with LEAs and other stakeholders to enhance understanding of MCMC’s functions, foster institutional trust, and promote inter-agency collaboration.3. Develop Stakeholder-Focused Educational ModulesDrive the development and delivery of tailored outreach and training modules for government agencies and key stakeholders on topics such as Internet safety, responsible digital use, regulatory literacy, and online harm mitigation.4. Sebenarnya.my & AIFA Ecosystem OversightProvide strategic oversight of the national fact-checking portal and AIFA chatbot to strengthen counter-misinformation efforts and public trust, including planning and executing promotional initiatives to increase public awareness and usage. Lead continuous enhancement of the chatbot and portal functionalities, such as improving accuracy, user experience, and system responsiveness, to ensure the ecosystem remains effective, accessible, and aligned with national communication objectives.5. Internal Coordination and Governance Lead and direct the development and implementation of communication workflows and SOPs to ensure consistent, efficient handling of external engagements and cross-division alignment.6. Records and Knowledge ManagementDevelop and manage centralized repositories for stakeholder contact databases, parliamentary responses, media materials, engagement records and presentations to support continuity and governance integrity.7. Strategic Partnership and National InitiativesLead the collaboration and partnership initiatives with key local and international stakeholders, including ministries, regulators, industry players, and civil society. Drive strategic outreach and campaigns to foster effective cooperation and alignment with national objectives.8. Track Emerging Issues and Global DevelopmentsActively participate in national and international meetings and policy forums to stay updated on evolving regulatory, technological, and communication trends, ensuring that stakeholder engagement strategies remain relevant, informed, and forward-looking.9. Compliance with MCMC’s processes Strategize the implementation of MCMC’s processes and guidelines to ensure a smooth process workflow and adherence to standards and requirements.10. Leadership, Team Performance and Capability BuildingLead, mentor, and develop officers to ensure a high-performing team culture. Build capacity through targeted training, clear performance expectations, and continuous development initiatives.11.
