The university holds full institutional accreditation from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission and maintains strong emphasis on research and international collaboration through journals, research centers, and scientific societies.Role Description The Head of Academic Requirements Unit is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of academic requirements and policies across the university. This full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh includes coordinating with colleges and departments to ensure program structures, course prerequisites, and graduation requirements are coherent, up to date, and aligned with national standards and institutional accreditation criteria. The role involves leading the unit’s staff, managing workflows, and establishing procedures for reviewing new and existing academic programs, as well as monitoring compliance with internal regulations and external quality assurance frameworks. The Head will analyze academic data and feedback, prepare reports and recommendations for university leadership, and contribute to strategic planning related to curriculum development, student progression, and academic quality. Regular collaboration with faculty, administrative units, and external stakeholders is expected to support continuous enhancement of the university’s academic offerings.Qualifications Strong background in higher education administration, academic planning, or curriculum development, preferably within a large university or similar institution.Proven experience in designing, implementing, or evaluating academic policies, program requirements, and quality assurance processes.Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including supervising teams, managing projects, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.Advanced analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to interpret academic data, prepare reports, and recommend evidence-based improvements.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly beneficial for effective coordination within the institution.Familiarity with national and international accreditation standards and frameworks relevant to higher education.Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, administrators, and external partners, while maintaining a student-centered and quality-focused approach.Master’s degree or PhD in education, educational administration, curriculum studies, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
