Head of Accounting

York Holding Group is a real estate and investment holding company operating across Georgia and the GCC. We are looking for an experienced Head of Accounting to lead and oversee the Group’s accounting function across four jurisdictions.What you’ll be responsible forLead the Group accounting team, including the Chief Accountant in Georgia and accounting teams in the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi ArabiaOversee and provide final review of tax declarations and statutory filingsEstablish and maintain a unified Group compliance calendar, ensuring accurate and timely filingsEnsure disciplined month-end closing, reconciliations, and effective internal controls across all entitiesManage external audits end-to-end and ensure continuous audit readinessEstablish consistent accounting policies, methodologies, and standards across the GroupEnsure accurate budget-line accounting and proper accounting treatment across branches and entitiesMaintain Odoo ERP data integrity, including the general ledger, trial balance, and reporting structureMonitor cost control and verify vendor, broker, and service-related fees and contractsEnsure the accuracy and integrity of accounting data related to real estate deals and inventoryWhat we’re looking for7+ years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership roleStrong knowledge of Georgian tax legislation; exposure to international accounting and tax practices is a strong advantageProven experience managing external audits from preparation through completionAdvanced Excel skills and solid ERP experience; Odoo experience is preferredGeorgian and English — working proficiencyStrong attention to detail and a control-oriented mindsetAbility to work effectively under tight deadlines and maintain high standards of accuracyStrong leadership skills and the ability to manage and hold a distributed, multi-country accounting team accountableWhat We Offer:👥 Join a collaborative and inclusive work environment.📈 Opportunities for professional growth and development.📩 Ready to apply?If you meet these requirements, we'd love to hear from you! please, submit your CV in EnglishBy submitting your resume (CV), you consent processing your personal data for the purpose of evaluating your application, assessing your suitability for the job, and managing any potential employment relationship.
