Head of Insights & Analytics | InsuranceUp to $200,000 + 25%New York / New JerseyHarnham is supporting a major specialty insurer undergoing a significant investment in Data, Analytics and AI.We're seeking a 2x senior analytics leader to act as the strategic partner to:Underwriting leadership, shaping how analytics, AI and data products improve underwriting performance, portfolio management and operational decision-making.Claims to improve claims outcomes, operational performance, reserving alignment and customer service.These is a highly visible roles sitting between business and technology, leading a small team while influencing a much broader analytics, engineering and AI ecosystem.You'll be responsible for:Partnering directly with underwriting or claims executivesTranslating business challenges into analytics and AI solutionsDriving adoption and value realisation across underwriting / claims teamsLeading AI-enabled underwriting transformation initiatives and agentic AI across their claims processesPrioritising and delivering a strategic analytics portfolioBuilding trusted relationships across commercial stakeholdersWe'd like to speak with people who have:Insurance or reinsurance experienceStrong underwriting or claims analytics exposureLeadership experience across Analytics, BI, AI or Data ScienceProven stakeholder management at executive levelExperience delivering measurable business outcomes through analyticsTech EnvironmentDatabricks | Power BI | Python | AI/ML | Generative AI📍 New York / New Jersey preferred (3 days office)💰 $175,000-$200,000 base + 25% Target Bonus + benefitsPlease apply or contact Conor Larkin at Harnham for a confidential discussion.
