Head of Communications

A leading e-commerce organization in UAE is seeking a Head of Communications.Role Description The Head of Communications will lead the planning and execution of the organization’s overall communications strategy, ensuring consistent and effective messaging across all channels. This full-time, on-site role is based in Dubai and involves collaborating closely with senior leadership to shape brand positioning, manage reputation, and support organizational objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic communications plans, overseeing the creation and distribution of press releases and key announcements, and managing relationships with media and external stakeholders. The role also includes directing internal and corporate communications initiatives, preparing executive talking points and presentations, and ensuring alignment of messaging across departments. The Head of Communications will monitor communication performance, analyze results, and refine strategies to improve engagement and impact.QualificationsDemonstrated expertise in Strategic Communications, including planning, messaging, and campaign management.Strong experience in drafting and managing Press Releases and media outreach activities.Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.Proven ability to develop and oversee Internal Communications programs that support employee engagement.Solid background in Corporate Communications, including reputation management and executive communications.Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.Experience in a senior communications or PR leadership role, preferably within complex or multinational organizations.Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills, with attention to detail and clarity.Ability to work on-site in Dubai and collaborate effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams.Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and crisis communication capabilities.
