We're hiring: Head of Compliance & Assurance (Group)ITSEC & SecureVisa Group (SVG) | Dubai, UAE | On-site | Full-timeAfter years of building our compliance and assurance function into something I'm genuinely proud of, we're opening the leadership seat at the top of it.This is one of the most important hires we'll make this year.ITSEC and SecureVisa Group (SVG) operate as one integrated group across two connected domains: cybersecurity & compliance engineering, and UAE regulatory licensing advisory. This role leads our compliance and assurance function across both businesses and is ultimately responsible for the quality, accuracy, and integrity of every regulatory deliverable we produce.This is not a generalist compliance role.We're looking for someone who writes to regulatory filing standards, works directly from primary legislation and rulebooks, and believes that "verify before you assert" is a professional obligation—not just a slogan.The role covers three core pillars:🔹 Financial Services & Virtual Asset Licensing (≈80%)VARASCA / CMAADGM (FSRA)DFSACBUAELead end-to-end licensing engagements, including:VASP policy frameworksAML/CFT/CPF programmesKYC/CDD manualsClient agreementsRisk disclosuresRegulatory submissions, responses, and remediation🔹 Healthcare & Data Protection ComplianceDHA (including ST-14)ADHICS V2UAE PDPLDubai Electronic Security Center (DESC) requirementsDrive policy development, regulatory gap assessments, control mapping, and compliance programmes for regulated healthcare and technology clients.🔹 Internal AssuranceSupport and strengthen our ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information Security Management System through:Risk assessmentsInternal auditsEvidence managementCertification readinessContinuous assurance activitiesWhat we're looking for✔️ 3–7+ years' experience in regulatory compliance, financial services, virtual assets, or regulatory advisory✔️ A genuine portfolio of authored policies, manuals, procedures, or regulatory submissions that demonstrates your work✔️ Strong AML/CFT knowledge with a solid understanding of FATF standards and practical experience across one or more UAE regulatory frameworks✔️ Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001 and/or UAE healthcare and data protection regulations—or a proven ability to master new regulatory domains quickly and accurately✔️ The discipline to map operational requirements to specific rulebook provisions and the integrity to identify gaps rather than make assumptionsProfessional certifications are highly regarded, including:CAMSCAMS-AuditCGSSICACISI (Financial Rules / Financial Crime)ISO/IEC 27001 Lead ImplementerISO/IEC 27001 Lead AuditorWhy this role?You'll report directly to me and lead the compliance and assurance function across both organisations.You'll work on some of the UAE's most challenging and rewarding regulatory projects—from virtual asset licensing and financial services compliance to healthcare regulation, data protection, and information security assurance.This isn't about managing paperwork.It's about setting the standard that our clients, regulators, and our own team rely on.📍 Dubai, UAE🏢 On-site | Full-time
