Apply & track with Apply EdgeOur client is an international financial services group with a well-established presence in Luxembourg.As part of the continued growth of their Luxembourg operations, they are seeking an experienced Head of Compliance & RC to lead the compliance and AML/CFT function of their CSSF-regulated specialised PFS, acting as a senior control function and key interlocutor with the regulator.Your areas of responsibility:Serve as Responsable du Contrôle (RC) for the PFS, acting as the primary point of contact with the CSSF on AML/CFT and compliance mattersEnsure full compliance with applicable AML/CFT, anti-bribery, fraud and criminal financing laws and regulations, including CSSF circulars and PSF standardsPrepare and present regular AML/CFT reports to the Board of Directors and relevant regulatory authoritiesOwn, maintain and continuously improve the AML/CFT framework, including risk analysis, control frameworks and compliance monitoring plansProvide second line oversight of financial crime surveillance systems, covering customer screening, transaction monitoring and regulatory reportingLead the Compliance function, overseeing the development and implementation of robust policies, procedures and internal controls across all regulated activitiesAct as a permanent member of the Risk and Compliance Committee and the Client Business Acceptance CommitteeDesign and oversee compliance and AML/CFT training programmes for staff, the Board and Senior ManagementManage and escalate compliance and AML/CFT issues, including external reporting where requiredContribute to Group-level harmonisation of risk and compliance standards, policies and methodologies across jurisdictionsAct as Cloud and ICT & Security Risk Officer on a strictly non-operational basis, covering risk assessments and policy oversightSupport Senior Management in maintaining constructive and transparent relationships with the CSSFYour profile: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Law, Compliance, Finance, Economics or a related field; civil or corporate law background preferredExtensive experience in the Luxembourg financial services sector, ideally within a specialised PFS, in a senior compliance and/or AML/CFT second line roleStrong practical knowledge of the Luxembourg AML/CFT legal and regulatory framework, including CSSF circulars and recent legislative developments (AML6/AMLD)Good understanding of regulated and non-regulated structures, fiduciary services and depositary lite servicesDemonstrated experience designing and maintaining policies, procedures and control frameworks in a risk-based environmentStrong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to produce clear documentation for Senior Management, Boards and regulatorsConfident, independent thinker with the interpersonal skills to maintain constructive relationships with business teams and senior stakeholdersHigh level of professional integrity, sound judgment and a proactive, solution-oriented mindsetFluency in English and French (spoken and written); Luxembourgish or German is an assetIf this opportunity feels right for you, we’d love to hear from you.Kindly note that a valid Luxembourg work permit is required for consideration.All applications are handled with the utmost confidentiality.
