Head of Compliance and AMLKey ResponsibilitiesAs the core engine of the Group’s compliance and anti-money laundering framework, you will take full charge of global regulatory compliance strategy execution, license acquisition, and AML risk management across key jurisdictions. Key responsibilities include:Compliance & AML Strategic Oversight: Lead and direct the Group’s regulatory compliance and anti-money laundering (AML/CTF) functions; formulate and implement global compliance strategies aligning with the company's stablecoin cross-border payments and wealth management businesses.AML Management: Establish and enhance robust global AML policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks. Oversee customer due diligence (CDD/EDD), transaction monitoring processes.Licensing & Regulatory Maintenance: Collaborate with legal and business teams to drive the application, modification, and maintenance of cross-border payment and digital asset licenses in major operating jurisdictions, ensuring fully licensed operations.VASP & Cross-Border Payment Regulation: Deeply research and enforce regulatory and AML requirements regarding VASP (e.g., HK SFC Type 1/4/7 licenses) and traditional cross-border payments (e.g., MSO, MSB, MPI). Provide regulatory advice to product and engineering teams, ensuring compliance controls are embedded into product design and workflows.Regulatory Liaison & Risk Control: Act as a key liaison with regulatory authorities (e.g., Hong Kong SFC, Customs and Excise Department) and law enforcement agencies. Handle regulatory inquiries, audits, inspections, and compliance investigations to mitigate regulatory and financial crime risks.Compliance Culture & Training: Embed compliance and AML requirements into product design and business operations. Conduct regular regulatory updates and AML training for management and employees.QualificationsExperience Background: Bachelor’s degree or above in Law, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Minimum 8 years of compliance and AML management experience within cross-border financial institutions, leading fintech companies, or major digital asset trading platforms. Professional certifications such as ACAMS are preferred.Payment, VASP & AML Expertise: In-depth understanding of cross-border financial regulatory frameworks and FATF standards for VASPs. Proven hands-on experience in AML, KYC, and transaction monitoring within payments and digital assets.Capabilities & Vision: Exceptional ability to build compliance frameworks from scratch, acute awareness of regulatory trends, and outstanding cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving skills.Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills with native or bilingual proficiency in both English and Mandarin. Ability to engage fluently with international regulators, external counsel, and business partners in English as a working language.
