Head of Compliance | Amsterdam or LondonIndustry: Online Delivery, Marketplace & TechnologyA leading global online delivery and marketplace platform is seeking a Head of Compliance to strengthen its compliance framework and embed practical, scalable compliance practices across the business.This is a senior, hands-on leadership role focused on translating regulatory and competition requirements into effective day-to-day processes, reducing regulatory risk and ensuring the business operates within clear legal and compliance frameworks.Location: Amsterdam or LondonReporting to: Director of LegalKey ResponsibilitiesLead the ethics and compliance programme across anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions, conflicts of interest, gifts and hospitality, code of conduct and whistleblowing.Develop and implement practical compliance programmes that are embedded into everyday business operations.Lead and develop a small compliance team, setting priorities and maintaining high standards of delivery.Own third-party risk management and due diligence, including risk-based screening, sanctions checks, re-screening and escalation of higher-risk relationships.Oversee compliance monitoring, testing, issue management, remediation and reporting.Provide leadership with clear visibility of compliance risks and programme performance.Deliver effective compliance training and awareness initiatives across the organisation.Partner with Commercial, Partnerships, Operations, Finance and other business stakeholders to implement practical compliance solutions.Support investigations, audit preparation, regulatory matters and engagement with external legal advisers.What You’ll BringStrong operational compliance experience, with a track record of building and managing compliance programmes within a business environment.Proven ability to partner with commercial and operational teams and translate regulatory requirements into practical solutions.Experience across areas including anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions, conflicts of interest, gifts and hospitality, code of conduct, third-party due diligence and whistleblowing.Experience managing or developing a small compliance team.Strong judgement and experience handling monitoring, investigations, remediation and escalation of material compliance risks.Working knowledge of payments and financial-crime compliance; fintech experience would be advantageous.Experience within a consumer, marketplace, technology, platform or regulated environment would be beneficial.This is an opportunity for an experienced compliance leader to shape a mature, commercially focused compliance function within a fast-moving international technology and marketplace environment.#Compliance #HeadOfCompliance #Risk #Legal #FinancialCrime #RegulatoryCompliance #EthicsAndCompliance #Fintech #TechnologyJobs #Leadership
