We seek individuals who are committed, proactive and able to operate effectively within a regulated and international environment.As part of the continued development of our Luxembourg operations, we are seeking a Head of Compliance & Responsable du Contrôle (RC – AML/CFT) to join our CSSF‑regulated specialised PFS. This is a senior control‑function role with responsibility for overseeing the compliance and AML/CFT frameworks of the Luxembourg entity, acting as a key point of contact with the CSSF, and providing independent challenge and advice to Senior Management and the Board of Directors.The RoleThe Compliance Officer and Responsible du Contrôle (CO/RC) is part of the compliance function, supported by compliance administrators and the MLRO. Resources within the compliance function are allocated in line with the PFS’s risk profile and priorities.The CO/RC reports functionally to the Board of Directors and administratively to Senior Management / the Daily Directors of the PFS.DUTIESAML-CFT – RC functionAct as Responsable du Contrôle (RC) for the PFS.Act as the primary regulatory contact with the CSSF for AML/CFT and compliance matters, within the scope of delegated mandates.Ensure that the PFS operates in accordance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and PSF standards relating to Anti‑Money Laundering and Counter‑Terrorism Financing, Anti‑Bribery, Criminal Financing and Fraud.Prepare and present regular and annual AML/CFT reports to the Board of Directors, Daily Directors and relevant external authorities.Manage and escalate AML/CFT‑related issues.Prepare routine and ad‑hoc AML/CFT reports for the Board of Directors, Daily Directors and regulatory authorities.Where appropriate, cooperate with oversight teams in the AML/CFT supervision of third parties, ongoing screening and transaction monitoring.Enhance and maintain the AML/CFT framework, including risk analysis, the AML/CFT control framework and compliance monitoring plans.Define appropriate screening lists and monitoring rules for customer screening and transaction monitoring.Own and continually refine second‑line oversight of financial crime surveillance systems covering customer screening, transaction monitoring and reporting.Review management information and data reports, perform trend analysis and identify risks and issues.Provide interpretation of AML/CFT and Compliance policies and work with the business to resolve significant breaches or violations, including external reporting where required.Provide independent oversight of AML/CFT training and awareness programmes and, where appropriate, deliver training to Business teams, the Board of Directors and Senior Management, reinforcing the two‑lines‑of‑defence model.Regularly review and update AML/CFT policies and procedures to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.Act as an advisor to the Board of Directors, Daily Directors and staff on AML/CFT‑related matters.Provide independent second‑line oversight and challenge of client due diligence performed by the first line of defence.Act as a member of the Client Business Acceptance Committee, providing independent AML/CFT and compliance challenge.Compliance functionHead the Compliance function of the PFS.Provide guidance on the interpretation and application of applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.Provide independent oversight of the development, implementation and maintenance of robust policies, procedures and controls covering all regulated activities.Provide independent oversight of compliance training for all staff and, where appropriate, deliver training.Promote and oversee the maintenance of an appropriate compliance culture within the PFS.Act as a permanent member of the Risk and Compliance Committee.Identify, manage and assess regulatory and compliance risks.Prepare and conduct the compliance monitoring plan, including testing of internal controls and procedures.Prepare internal and external compliance reports.Support Management in maintaining constructive and transparent relationships with the regulator.Follow up on the implementation of recommendations issued by control functions (Internal Audit, Compliance, CSSF).Other Oversight Roles (proportional and non-operational)Contribute, on a proportional basis, to the implementation, monitoring and enhancement of tailored compliance and regulatory services provided to fund and corporate client entities (e.g. RC function, FATCA‑CRS, GDPR, DAC 6, CSSF regulatory reporting).Act as Cloud and ICT & Security Risk Officer for the PFS on a strictly non‑operational basis, through:risk assessments,policy oversight, monitoring and reporting,with no technical or operational implementation responsibilities and with independence from ICT teams.Group Oversight Roles (non-operational)Act as a key contributor at Group level to the development, harmonisation and continuous improvement of Risk and Compliance standards across the Trident Trust Group.Provide subject‑matter expertise on Compliance and AML/CFT governance, supporting the definition of Group‑wide frameworks, policies, methodologies and minimum control standards.Contribute to the harmonisation of AML/CFT risk assessment approaches, client risk classification principles and due‑diligence standards across jurisdictions.Support the alignment of core Compliance policies and control frameworks, ensuring consistent interpretation while respecting local regulatory requirements and proportionality.Contribute to the standardisation of compliance monitoring approaches, testing methodologies and key risk indicators, to enable consistent Group‑level oversight and reporting.Coordinate with local Risk and Compliance functions across the Group to share regulatory developments, supervisory feedback, emerging risks and best practices.Participate in Group Risk and Compliance forums, working groups and initiatives, providing input from the perspective of a CSSF‑regulated specialised PFS.Advise on the local implementation of Group standards in Luxembourg, ensuring full alignment with CSSF expectations and local regulatory requirements.This role is strictly second line and non‑operational, with no responsibility for the day‑to‑day execution of Compliance or Risk activities at Group or local level.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Bachelor’s degree (or recognised country equivalent) in Law (civil law, corporate law preferred), Compliance, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in the Luxembourg financial services industry, ideally within a specialised PFS, in a senior compliance and/or AML/CFT second‑line role.Strong and practical knowledge of the Luxembourg AML/CFT legal and regulatory framework, including applicable laws, CSSF circulars and recent legislative developments (e.g. AMLD/AML6).Very good understanding of regulated and non‑regulated structures, fiduciary services, and depositary‑lite services.Solid understanding of the business model and risk profile of a specialised PFS, with the ability to identify, assess and challenge compliance and AML/CFT risks.Demonstrated experience in designing, interpreting and maintaining policies, procedures and internal control frameworks in a risk‑based environment.Strong analytical, research and reporting skills, including the ability to produce clear and concise documentation for Senior Management, Boards of Directors and regulators.Proven ability to work independently as a control function while maintaining constructive and pragmatic relationships with business teams and senior stakeholders.Strong organisational, prioritisation and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.High level of professional integrity, sound judgment and the confidence to exercise independent challenge.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Fluency in English and French (spoken and written); knowledge of Luxembourgish or German is considered an asset.Proactive, motivated and self‑driven mindset, with a pragmatic and
