Head of Concept - Hospitality

Our portfolio spans Dubai’s prime residential, commercial and hospitality destinations, with a commitment to transparency, customer centricity, quality, integrity and construction-driven value.With landmark developments including Burj Azizi, Monaco Mansions and Azizi Venice, we continue to strengthen our Design 360 Studio, where Architecture, Structures, MEP, Landscape, Interiors and Supervision come together to deliver innovative and value-driven real estate assets.About the RoleAs Head of Concept – Hospitality, reporting to the Design Director of Studio 360 and based at our Design Studio in Al Hudaiba Awards Office, Dubai, you will lead the design development of Azizi’s hospitality portfolio, with a strong focus on Concept Design Stage.You will manage projects from Feasibility, Pre-Concept and Concept through Schematic Design, ensuring the design intent is maintained through Detailed Design, authority submissions and TOK/GFC preparation. You will act as the Design Guardian for projects developed in-house and provide design review and evaluation for outsourced projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Concept Design stage for hospitality projects, developing creative and commercially viable design solutions.Create design pitches, concept presentations and design narratives, leveraging AI and emerging technologies where appropriate.Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of Architects, BIM/CAD Technicians, Visualizers and Graphic Designers.Manage design resources, workflows and change management in line with project and stakeholder requirements.Coordinate with Architecture, Engineering, Interiors, Landscape and other disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions.Ensure design intent is maintained through Detailed Design, authority approvals and TOK/GFC preparation.Review outsourced designs against project requirements, design standards and hospitality benchmarks.Consider cost, constructability, maintenance, sustainability and operational requirements throughout the design process.Ensure compliance with relevant local and international codes, regulations and authority requirements.Promote a creative, collaborative culture while mentoring the team and strengthening Studio 360’s design standards.Explore AI, automation, R&D and new technologies to improve design ideation and production workflows.Here's what you'll needBachelor’s Degree in Architecture is mandatory.Extensive hospitality design experience, particularly in 4-star and 5-star hotels and resorts.Proven experience leading projects through Concept and Schematic Design stages.Proven experience working on and delivering at least 3 completed hotel projects, preferably across 4-star and 5-star properties.Strong portfolio of large-scale hospitality, mixed-use and/or masterplan developments.Excellent freehand sketching, design presentation and concept development skills.Strong team leadership, stakeholder management and multidisciplinary coordination experience.Good knowledge of IBC, Dubai Municipality Codes, NFPA, UDC and other relevant regulations.Proficiency in Autodesk/BIM, Adobe Suite and other relevant design technologies.
