Operations are led by experienced professionals with strong expertise in power infrastructure, electrical engineering, logistics, and supply chain management.Role Description The Head of Corporate Communications is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos, responsible for shaping and managing MOJEC International Limited’s internal and external communications strategy. The individual in this role will oversee the development and execution of communication plans, including press releases, media engagement, and corporate announcements that uphold and enhance the company’s reputation. Day-to-day tasks include managing media relations, supervising content creation for digital and print channels, coordinating executive messaging, and ensuring consistent brand positioning across all stakeholders. The role involves leading crisis and reputation management efforts, advising senior leadership on communication matters, and aligning communication initiatives with business objectives. The Head of Corporate Communications will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor communication staff, and track the impact of communication activities through metrics and reporting.QualificationsStrong experience in Corporate Communications and Strategic Communications, with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies.Demonstrated skills in Media Relations and Press Releases, including managing relationships with journalists and crafting clear, accurate, and timely announcements.Proven capability in Reputation Management, including crisis communication planning, stakeholder engagement, and brand protection.Ability to oversee and coordinate cross-channel communication efforts, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with organizational goals.Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications are an advantage.Several years of progressive experience in corporate communications or public relations, ideally within energy, utilities, infrastructure, or related sectors.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation abilities, and experience working with senior executives.Proven leadership experience, including managing teams, setting priorities, and delivering communication programs within deadlines.High level of professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to work on-site in Lagos in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
