Head of Data – FinTech | DubaiWe’re working with a fast-growing FinTech business in Dubai looking to appoint a Head of Data to build and lead its data function as the company continues to scale.This is a broad leadership role covering the full data landscape — Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Engineering and Analytics — with responsibility for building the team, strategy and technical foundations behind a highly data-driven product.What you’ll own:

• Build and lead the Data Science, ML, Data Engineering and Analytics functions
• Define the overall data strategy, architecture and technical roadmap
• Develop and productionise ML models that directly impact the product and customer experience
• Build scalable data platforms, pipelines and infrastructure
• Establish strong analytics, reporting and experimentation capabilities
• Work closely with Product, Engineering and senior leadership on data-driven product development
• Hire, mentor and scale a high-performing multidisciplinary data team
• Take ownership of data quality, governance and reliability as the business growsWhat we’re looking for:
• Strong technical background across Data Science / Machine Learning and Data Engineering
• Experience leading multidisciplinary data teams
• Track record of taking ML/data products from development into production
• Strong understanding of modern data platforms, architecture and analytics
• Ideally experience within FinTech, digital banking, payments, lending, credit or financial services
• Strong preference for candidates who have worked within start-up or scale-up environments and understand what it takes to build a data function from the ground up
