Apply & track with Apply EdgeHead of Data ManagementFortune 250 | Food & Beverage / CPG | Fully RemoteWe are partnering with a Fortune 250 global organisation in the Food & Beverage / Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector to appoint a Head of Data Management.This is a senior, enterprise-level leadership opportunity responsible for defining and executing how data is managed, governed, structured, and leveraged across a highly complex global organisation.Operating at significant scale across manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, customer, finance, and corporate functions, the successful leader will play a critical role in building the data management capabilities required to support the organisation's continued digital, analytics, and AI transformation.The RoleThe Head of Data Management will own the strategy and operating model for enterprise data management, ensuring critical data is trusted, accessible, governed, secure, and fit for purpose across the organisation.You will work closely with senior leaders across Data & Analytics, Technology, AI, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Commercial, Finance, and other business functions to establish a consistent enterprise approach to managing data.This is not simply a governance position. We are looking for a leader who can combine enterprise strategy, transformation, technology, and execution while building and leading high-performing global teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute the enterprise Data Management strategy and roadmapLead and scale global teams across Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata, Master Data, and related capabilitiesEstablish enterprise-wide frameworks, policies, standards, ownership models, and controls for critical dataDrive improvements in data quality, consistency, lineage, accessibility, and trustDevelop and mature Master Data Management (MDM) capabilities across complex business domainsEstablish clear data ownership and stewardship models across business and technology functionsPartner with Data Engineering and Architecture teams to ensure data management principles are embedded within modern data platformsSupport the modernisation of legacy data environments and adoption of scalable cloud-based data capabilitiesEnable trusted data foundations for AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, reporting, and automationPartner with business leaders across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, commercial, finance, and customer operationsEstablish measurable KPIs around data quality, governance adoption, platform effectiveness, and business valueBuild an enterprise data culture where data is treated as a strategic business assetShape the long-term operating model, organisational structure, and investment roadmap for Data ManagementWhat We're Looking ForSignificant leadership experience within enterprise Data Management, Data Governance, Data Strategy, MDM, or Data & AnalyticsExperience operating within a large, complex, global enterpriseProven experience building or transforming enterprise-wide data management capabilitiesStrong understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, MDM, and data ownership/stewardshipExperience working alongside modern cloud and enterprise data platformsStrong understanding of how high-quality, governed data supports AI and advanced analyticsExperience leading sizeable, multi-functional and geographically distributed teamsAbility to operate effectively with C-suite and senior business/technology leadershipTrack record of translating data strategy into measurable business outcomesExperience within Food & Beverage, CPG, Manufacturing, Retail, Supply Chain, or similarly complex industries would be advantageous, but is not essentialWhy This Opportunity?This is an opportunity to take ownership of Data Management within one of the world's largest and most recognisable Food & Beverage organisations at a point of significant transformation.The successful individual will have the opportunity to build, shape, and mature enterprise data capabilities, influence major technology and AI initiatives, and establish the foundations for how data is managed across a truly global environment.Strong senior leaders who are ready to step into a broader Head of Data Management mandate will also be considered.
