Equanimo (equanimo.ai) is an AI governance platform that protects that know-how: methods, pricing logic, decision rules and operating judgment. It reads the meaning of every prompt, not just keywords, and applies company policy before anything reaches ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or an AI agent. It runs inside the customer’s own environment, and every decision is logged for audit.The platform is built: 7 modules are live, the SOC 2 audit is complete, and we’re in talks with enterprises in financial services and insurance. Now we need the person who makes our detection the best in the market.What you’ll ownTacit Knowledge Control (TKC): the models that recognise when everyday language reveals proprietary know-how. You’ll own accuracy, false-positive rate and latency, the numbers our customers and investors will judge us on.Context Intelligence: models that learn each organisation’s roles, tasks and context, so policy decisions get smarter with every allow, block and exception.Evaluation: benchmarks and measurement with our first design partners, and turning their feedback into model improvements.The team: you’ll hire and lead our ML engineers and data scientists across the US and India.The technical story: you’ll help explain our approach to CISOs, auditors and investors.What you bring8+ years in applied ML or NLP, including putting models into production at scale.Deep experience with LLMs, classification, fine-tuning, evaluation, and small models that run fast at low cost.Experience in security, privacy, fraud or regulated industries, where false positives have real cost.You’re comfortable building from zero, with ambiguity, and with being hands-on.Nice to have: data loss prevention (DLP), insider risk, or AI-security background; publications or patents.Compensation: founding equityEquity: a meaningful founding stake vesting over 4 years with a 1-year cliff.Before funding: equity-based until our seed round closes.After the seed closes: you move to a market salary of plus benefits.
