The responsibility encompasses the areas from procurement of Raw Materials, Key Stores, Capital Materials, Project Materials, and Inventory Management to distribution of Finished Goods to customers. To assist the Regional Risk Officer, for effective implementation of Global Enterprise Risk Management in the region and facilitate units teams to identify and mitigate business risks.KRA's :Leading the teams in identifying the cost saving opportunities in the functions. Developing a systematic approach in taking up the projects. Facilitation of the teams and regular review of such initiatives. Help teams to undertake projects to enhance organization s responsiveness towards external &external customers. Developing a systematic approach in taking up the projects (GPS, RFID etc.) Facilitation of the teams and regular review of such initiatives. Improving the delivery performance to the customers.Scan and develop new vendors and supply sources Obtain requirements from the Units Developing the standard templates & format to be followed across region.Regular team meetings to bring integration among different units. Facilitating and creating a platform for the team to share their concerns and helping them resolving their issues. Act as a subject expert and resource for the unit steams.Work closely with counterpart in the other regions to identify opportunities of global sourcing for Indian Units.Liaison with corporate office for global contracts of key inputs.To reduce dependency on USGC for Fedstock, develop indigenous source of Raw Materials Work closely with Indian Suppliers to develop alternate source of Raw Materials like Coal Tar, CBO, and ETO etc. Creating appropriate infrastructure for units & port to handle alternate Feedstock Constantly evaluate the price variance and commercial viability to take buying decisions.Facilitate the teams to develop a standard contacts and terms for execution. Developing a central repository of standard terms & contract for the region.Sending the RFQ’s to prospective suppliers Finalizing the scope of supply with user departments Arranging meetings and discussions for negotiation. Issuance of the contractsDevelopment and implementation of Regional Risk Management Framework Development of an effective process for identifying, assessing, reporting and responding to the most critical risks Share the emerging risks listing with the relevant function and unit heads within the region Assisting RRO with ERMC activities Assisting in development, implementation and monitoring of risk response strategies Provide regular updates on risk mitigation plans and identify new risks Regular interaction with and Units Risk ownersRegular feedback for improvement Identify area for development Provide for relevant training Guide & coach for the unit teamsDeveloping the standard operating procedures for all key activities Institutionalizing the systematic approach for key processes in the function. Periodic review and continual improvement in the processes. Exploration of opportunities for standardization of inputs like packing materials and other key inputs. Carrying out the data analysis for standardization of specifications of various inputs and services.
