Head of DeskRole OverviewAs Head of Desk, you will drive commercial performance in iron ore and/or concentrates trading, leveraging your existing relationships and book of business to enhance our client's global reach. You will be integral to setting direction, overseeing risk, and ensuring strong execution within our client's team.Key Skills and ExperienceMetals (iron ore/concentrates) trading experience: 5-10 years experience in iron ore or concentrates, including negotiation and deal lifecycle management.Portable book of business: Ability to bring an established portfolio of clients and counterparties to immediately contribute to revenue growth.Global network, especially LATAM or Africa: Strong relationships with producers, traders, and end-users, enabling origination and expansion in key growth regions.Trading leadership: Experience leading or running a trading desk, making informed commercial decisions and mentoring traders.
