We provide services across England, led by a highly motivated and enthusiastic workforce who are committed to delivering the best quality services to those in need of support.Everything about MHM is people focused, our people are central to delivering the highest quality of services to those we support.Job Purpose:Reporting to the Director of Transformation & Performance, the Head of Digital & Data will provide strategic leadership for MHM's digital, data and technology functions, ensuring they support organisational priorities, service delivery and future growth.As a member of the Leadership Team, you will help shape organisational strategy and lead the development of secure, reliable and innovative digital and data services. You'll oversee IT infrastructure, data governance, analytics and business intelligence, enabling data-driven decision-making and improved outcomes for the people we support.The role will drive digital innovation, including the responsible use of AI, while ensuring strong governance, cybersecurity and compliance. You will also lead digital and data investment, supplier relationships and the development of high-performing teams.Key Responsibilities:Lead the delivery of MHM's digital and data strategy, aligning technology, data and innovation with organisational priorities.Contribute to organisational leadership, strategy development and cross-functional collaboration as a member of the Leadership Team.Provide strategic oversight of IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity and digital platforms, ensuring they are secure, reliable and scalable.Lead data governance, reporting and analytics capabilities to support insight, performance and decision-making.Drive the adoption of digital, data and AI solutions that improve efficiency, innovation and service outcomes.Manage digital and data budgets, suppliers and external partners to ensure high-quality, cost-effective delivery.Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, translating technical concepts into clear and accessible language.Lead and develop high-performing Digital & Data teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning and continuous improvement.Requirements:EssentialSignificant experience leading digital, data and/or IT functions at a senior level, including strategy development and delivery.Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, systems integration, data governance, analytics and reporting.Understanding of cybersecurity, information governance, data protection and risk management.Experience managing budgets, suppliers and technology partners.Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.Strategic, analytical and solutions-focused, with experience contributing to organisational decision-making and change.A values-led leader committed to innovation, accountability and improving outcomes for people experiencing mental health challenges.DesirableExperience within health, social care, charity, public sector or other regulated environments.Experience leading digital transformation, service improvement or organisational change programmes.Experience implementing or overseeing AI, advanced analytics or emerging technologies.Everything about Mental Health Matters is people focused.
