This role oversees multiple engineering teams, setting technical direction, defining architecture standards, and ensuring best practices in software development, DevOps, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product, design, data, and business stakeholders to align technology roadmaps with company strategy, prioritizing initiatives, and managing resource allocation. The Head of Engineering will mentor and develop engineering leaders, drive continuous improvement in processes, and establish metrics for performance, reliability, and delivery efficiency. The role also involves participating in key client engagements, supporting solution design and technical pre-sales, and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and inclusive collaboration.Qualifications Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing engineering teams.Proficiency in software engineering fundamentals, including system design, architecture, code quality, and modern development practices (e.g., microservices, APIs, CI/CD).Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices, ideally across AWS, containerization, infrastructure as code, and observability tools.Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and emerging technologies, including practical exposure to data-driven products, automation, or intelligent platforms.Background in security, reliability, and performance optimization, with a focus on building scalable, resilient, and compliant systems.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate business goals into technical strategies and roadmaps.Proven track record of
