The business has an established product and an existing engineering function and is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop a team of approximately 15 software engineers.This is an opportunity to join a fast-moving, product-focused business with the pace and autonomy of a startup, backed by long-term investment and a clear growth strategy.Due to the confidential nature of the search, further details will be shared during the interview process.The RoleAs Engineering Manager, you'll lead a team of around 15 engineers, ensuring high technical standards, effective delivery, and a collaborative engineering culture.You'll work closely with senior leadership and Product to deliver new features, improve platform scalability, and help grow the engineering organisation as the company expands.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor and develop a team of approximately 15 software engineers.Drive engineering excellence through coaching, code reviews and technical guidance.Work with Product Managers and stakeholders to plan and deliver high-quality software.Improve engineering processes, development workflows and delivery practices.Support architectural discussions and contribute to key technical decisions.Manage sprint planning, delivery timelines and team capacity.Recruit, onboard and develop engineering talent.Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing engineering culture.Ensure software quality, reliability, security and operational best practices.About YouWe're looking for someone who enjoys building teams just as much as building software.RequirementsMust be based in the UAEPrevious experience leading engineering teams of 10–20 developers.Strong software engineering background with the ability to contribute technically when required.Experience delivering complex software products in an agile environment.Excellent people management and coaching skills.Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud technologies and modern development practices.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Nice to HaveExperience in consumer technology, SaaS or marketplace platforms.Background in scaling engineering teams within growing businesses.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps and modern engineering practices.Experience working with distributed or international engineering teams.What's on OfferLead an established engineering teamJoin a well-funded, product-led technology company.Competitive salary and performance bonus.Long-term career progression as the engineering organisation continues to grow.Modern technology stack and engineering-first culture.Must already be based in the UAELocationDubai, United Arab Emirates
