Our mission is to solve some of the most challenging problems in the security of software– how to make AI-first organizations release applications fast and not be bothered by security, leveraging AI agents to create secure code and fix vulnerabilities.We are in a fast-growing, new space and looking to lead this new era of application security where AI write code.The RoleWe are looking for a Head of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization as we continue to grow.This role is ideal for a hands-on engineering leader who grew through software development roles and has experience building teams in startup environments. You will be responsible for shaping the engineering culture, scaling the organization, and ensuring the successful delivery of our platform.ResponsibilitiesLead and grow the engineering organization, including team leads and individual contributorsDefine and execute the engineering strategy aligned with company goalsBuild scalable engineering processes and development practicesWork closely with product, security, and executive leadership on roadmap and strategyEnsure high standards for system architecture, reliability, and securityRecruit, mentor, and develop top engineering talentDrive a culture of ownership, innovation, and executionRequirements: 8+ years of software engineering experience, including a proven track record of leading engineering teams in startup and high-growth environments.Experience managing multiple teams or team leadsStrong system architecture and cloud-native platform experienceExperience with microservices architectures and large-scale systemsStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsNice to haveExperience in cybersecurity, DevSecOps, or developer toolingExperience scaling engineering teams from early-stage to growth-stage companiesFamiliarity with AI-driven platforms or data-intensive systems
