AS9100 governance. Internal audit programmes that find problems before auditors do. CAPA processes that actually close. You understand DOA environments. You know that quality culture isn't aspirational—it's built through process discipline and independent monitoring that teeth.We're building a certification-grade aerospace programme. Greenfield. Early stage. The Engineering Quality function needs to be the backbone of everything.Your role: develop, own and continuously improve the Engineering Quality Management System. Establish and lead the Independent System Monitoring function that ensures engineering processes stay compliant and effective. Run internal audits and CAPA. Manage supplier quality. Support certification audits. Build and mentor the quality team. Represent quality in the engineering leadership team without losing independence.First 90 days:Engineering Quality Management System baseline established and approved. Independent monitoring function operational. First internal audit cycle complete. Quality metrics and KPIs defined. Supplier quality programme in place.By month 12:Quality processes embedded across engineering. Zero audit findings on management system. ISM monitoring cadence sustained. All corrective actions closed on schedule. Quality culture measurable across the engineering team.Must have:10+ years aerospace engineering quality. Strong QMS management experience. AS9100 or EN9100. Internal audit and CAPA leadership. Highly regulated aircraft development background.Highly desirable:DOA experience. ISM background. Certification programmes.
