The role involves overseeing the English curriculum, managing a team of teachers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality English education. Responsibilities include developing and implementing curriculum plans, observing and mentoring teachers, and ensuring adherence to educational standards. The Head of English Department will also collaborate with school administration to align departmental goals with the institution’s objectives and participate in student performance evaluations and parent communication. Qualifications Proficiency in English Teaching and a strong background in English LiteratureCertified Qualified Teacher with relevant licensure or accreditationExperience in Curriculum Development and education planningStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsMinimum of a bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)Previous experience in a management or leadership role within an educational institutionCommitment to fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment
