- Lead event operations across all Matchroom Boxing events in the USA and Mexico under supervision from Global Director of Operations.
- Manage the operational planning and delivery of fight week and fight night, working closely with venues, production teams, broadcasters, commissions, suppliers and internal departments.
- Source, negotiate with and manage venues and key event suppliers, ensuring requirements are delivered within agreed budgets.
- Manage event production alongside appointed production suppliers, including reviewing designs, staffing and operational requirements.
- Produce and manage event schedules, running orders, floor plans, ringside plans, and other key operational documentation.
- Work alongside the Head of Ticketing to develop venue floor plans, ensuring layouts meet production, broadcast, commission, safety and ticketing requirements.
- Manage event security, accreditation and access requirements within agreed budgets.
- Act as a key operational point of contact for broadcasters, venues, commissions, production suppliers, contractors and other event stakeholders.
- Manage event operations budgets, including supplier costs, deposits, settlements, labor calls and invoice review.
- Travel to Matchroom Boxing events throughout the USA and Mexico and provide hands-on leadership during fight week and fight night.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- 5+ years of progressive experience in event operations, production or venue management within boxing, sports or the live entertainment industry.
- Proven experience managing large-scale live events and working with venues, broadcasters, production companies, suppliers and contractors.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing event budgets, supplier negotiations and costs.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-directed with strong judgment and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Ability to problem-solve quickly and effectively in a live event environment.
