Head of Finance and Accounting

As the company expands across multiple markets and centralises key finance activities into the UAE, we are seeking an exceptional Head of Finance & Accounting to lead one of the most critical functions within the finance organisation.This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong and commercially astute finance leader who wants genuine influence, visibility, and impact.Reporting directly to the CFO, you will own the integrity of group financial reporting across multiple international entities, drive best-in-class accounting governance, and play a leading role in a major finance transformation programme. The successful individual will help build the future finance operating model of a global business undergoing significant international growth and change.The OpportunityYou will be responsible for leading the end-to-end consolidation and financial reporting process across a diverse international group structure. You will ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and reliable financial information while establishing robust governance, control frameworks, and reporting standards across multiple jurisdictions.This position sits at the centre of the finance organisation and will play a key role in aligning regional finance teams, improving reporting disciplines, and supporting strategic decision making at executive level.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation processOwn the close calendar and reporting timetable across all entitiesDeliver consolidated financial statements and executive reporting packsEstablish and maintain group accounting policies and IFRS complianceDrive balance sheet integrity and financial control excellenceLead relationships with external auditors across multiple jurisdictionsOversee intercompany reconciliations and foreign currency translation processesDevelop scalable reporting frameworks to support future growthDrive finance transformation, centralisation, and process improvement initiativesPartner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Technology, and OperationsBuild, mentor, and develop high performing finance teamsWhat We Are Looking ForBig Four trained ACA with a strong foundation in audit and financial reporting10+ years of progressive experience across group accounting, consolidation, and financial reportingProven track record leading complex multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations within international organisationsDeep technical expertise in IFRS, including foreign currency translation, consolidation principles, and statutory reportingExperience building or improving financial controls, accounting policies, and reporting governance frameworksExposure to finance transformation, centralisation, shared services, or operating model redesign programmesStrong stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to influence executives and finance leaders across multiple jurisdictionsExperience operating in fast paced, high-growth, and evolving business environmentsLeadership capability with experience developing teams and driving accountabilityCommercially minded, with the ability to translate technical accounting matters into clear business insightThe IndividualYou are likely to be someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity.
