Head of Finance

Hays have partnered with a growing Insurance organisation who are looking to hire a Head of Finance and Tax to join their team in Riyadh.The Head of Finance and Tax will be responsible for financial control, regulatory financial reporting, planning and performance, treasury operations, and the full ZATCA tax and zakat compliance. The successful applicant will help to develop the team, put the accounting and control framework in place and develop a monthly Group reporting cycle.Requirements to apply: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.You must be a Chartered Accountant, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.A minimum of 12 years' progressive finance experience including 5 years within the Saudi market.Background working for a Big 4 Audit Firm would be preferred.Experience working within the Insurance sector is essential.Direct, hands-on experience of ZATCA compliance covering zakat or corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and e-invoicing under FATOORA.Practical application of IFRS 17 in an insurance environment, including the interface with the actuarial function.Experience of managing a statutory audit and of preparing insurance financial statements under IFRS.Knowledge of implementing finance systems would be beneficial.Bilingual in Arabic and English, written and spoken.Offering a competitive salary and benefits package.If you meet the criteria above, please apply directly.
