We are looking for a highly analytical and execution-focused Head of Finance / Finance Controller to build a world-class finance function and partner directly with the founders in driving financial performance, profitability, cash flow optimization, and strategic decision-making.This is not a traditional accounting role. We are looking for someone who can build financial intelligence, create decision-making dashboards, improve profitability, strengthen controls, and help scale the organization.What you will ownFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Build and own the company’s monthly MIS and founder dashboard.Develop revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and profitability reports.Prepare month-on-month and year-on-year financial analysis.Track client-wise profitability and contribution margins.Build budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.Create department-wise cost and profitability analytics.Business FinanceMonitor revenue, collections, receivables, and cash flow.Analyze pricing, margins, bench costs, hiring costs, and utilization.Create client-level P&L and profitability reports.Identify opportunities to improve margins and working capital.Support strategic decisions through financial modeling and business analysis.Cash Flow & TreasuryPrepare rolling cash flow forecasts.Optimize fund utilization and treasury management.Recommend deployment of surplus funds (debt, liquid funds, treasury products, etc.).Manage banking relationships, debt, and liquidity planning.Improve working capital efficiency and DSO.Financial Controls & GovernanceReview books of accounts and ensure financial accuracy.Improve chart of accounts, accounting quality, and reporting integrity.Ensure proper expense classification and cost allocation.Establish monthly financial closing discipline.Strengthen internal controls and approval processes.Create financial SOPs across finance and operations.Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Companies Act, CSR, and other statutory requirements.Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.Maintain compliance calendars and governance dashboards.Ensure audit readiness and documentation.Automation & ReportingBuild automated MIS and dashboards using Power BI / Excel.Improve finance processes through automation.Integrate financial reporting with operational metrics.Drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.What we are looking forCA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.8–15 years of experience in Finance Controller, FP&A, Business Finance, or Corporate Finance roles.Strong experience in a technology services, staffing, consulting, IT services, or high-growth business.Deep expertise in MIS, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, profitability analysis, and financial controls.Advanced Excel skills (mandatory).Experience with Power BI or financial dashboards.Strong understanding of accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance.Ability to work directly with founders and influence business decisions.Strong analytical, communication, and execution capabilities.What success looks like in the first 6 monthsA founder-ready monthly MIS dashboard.Client-wise profitability reporting.Rolling cash flow forecasting.Budget vs actual reporting.Treasury and fund utilization framework.Improved financial controls and compliance tracking.Automated finance dashboards with actionable insights.Why join us?This role offers a rare opportunity to build the finance function of a rapidly growing company from the ground up.
