Catalyst Partners positions itself as a one-stop provider of tailored financial solutions, offering a dynamic environment for finance professionals seeking impactful roles in the region.Job purpose:Guarantee accurate books, financial statements and group consolidation for the Holding, IB and PE, turn those numbers into decisions through budgeting, forecasting and management reporting, and oversee treasury and tax compliance.Key responsibilities:-1. Oversee the monthly, quarterly and annual close; sign off standalone FS of the three entities and the group consolidated FS (EAS 42)2. Own the accounting policies manual, unified chart of accounts and group reporting calendar3. Lead the annual budget, 3-year plan and quarterly rolling forecast for the Holding, IB and PE4. Issue the monthly management pack & variance analysis by WD10 and the group performance pack5. Control the support-function cost base and allocation keys; lead investment cases and Board presentations6. Coordinate the external audit and give technical accounting opinions (EAS 47, 48, 49)7. Design and monitor controls (SoD, maker-checker, reconciliations, manual journals, bank access); oversee treasury and tax compliance8. Lead, develop and appraise the Assistant Manager – Financial Reporting and the Assistant Manager – Treasury & TaxQualifications & Requirements:-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field. 12+ years of relevant experience, including experience with a Big 4 firm in Audit, FP&A, or Corporate Finance. Hands-on experience in financial consolidation, group reporting, and financial modeling. Experience within a Group / Holding Company structure, managing or reporting across a parent company and multiple subsidiaries. Previous experience in holding companies and/or financial services is preferred. Strong understanding of intercompany transactions, consolidation, and subsidiary reporting. Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA is preferred.
