Head of Finance - Exchange House

With a decade of experience in the region and a team that possesses extensive knowledge of the market, we provide a fully integrated HR solution.We are currently recruiting for a Head of Finance - Exchange House for one of our clients, based in their Abu Dhabi office.Purpose- Head of Finance will lead the company’s finances. This position involves overseeing the financial management of the Organization, including budgeting, financial reporting and strategic planning to optimize fiscal performance.Responsibilities- Develop & execute comprehensive financial strategies and plans to optimize the company’s fiscal performance.Lead the budgeting, processes, financial forecasting and analysis to ensure alignment with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.Create, update and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, transparency and compliance.Develop and implement strategies for effective cash flow management to meet operational needs and financial obligations.Optimize working capital by managing receivables, payables and inventory to enhance liquidity and minimize financial risk.Forecast & analyze cash flows trends, recommending adjustments to maintain healthy cash position.Maintain comprehensive and accurate books of accounts and supporting records that always reflect the correct liquidity and financial position of the Company.Ensure that a system of automated books of accounts is in place as per regulatory requirements.Ensure that Company’s VAT Accounting complies with FTA Regulations.Ensure that Company’s Corporate Tax Accounting complies with FTA Regulations.Attend management meetings with the Branch Managers and Operations Team and provide heads up on financial perspective.Ensure that Central Bank requirements are met with respect to Finance function.Liaise and correspond with local and international banks for issues related to operations and finance.Ensure proper and accurate monthly & annual closing of financial results of the Company.Remain up to date with the changing regulatory requirements affecting the Finance activities of the CompanyEnsure the availability of Funds in all the branchesEnsure that budget is prepared and submitted to the COO well in time to warrant proper review of the sameImplement financial controls and risk management strategies to safeguard the institution’s assets.Maintain a sound understanding of market conditions and provide insights to manage exposure to risk.Manage the institution’s capital structure and ensure adequate liquidity for operational and regulatory needs.Monitor cash flow, working capital and liquidity ratios to optimize resource allocation and to comply with CBUAE regulation.Skills- Bachelor of Commerce & Qualified Chartered Accountant.More than 15 years of solid experience in Banking & Finance Industry preferably in similar role.Extensive experience in monitoring cash flow, working capital and liquidity ratios to optimize resource allocation and to comply with CBUAE regulationWork closely with other departments heads to provide financial support and advice for various business initiatives.Participate in the strategic decision-making process to support overall growth and sustainability.
