Head of Finance Operations | High-Growth AI Start-UpLondon | £90,000–£110,000 + 10% pensionClear progression to Director of Finance OperationsI’m partnering with an exciting high-growth AI start-up in London to appoint a Head of Finance Operations.This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Senior Finance Manager or Financial Controller looking to step into their first Head of Finance Operations position, with the opportunity to progress relatively quickly to Director of Finance Operations as the organisation continues to scale.This isn't about inheriting a finished finance function. You'll be given the autonomy to build, improve and shape it.Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll take broad ownership across finance operations while developing the reporting, processes, controls and planning infrastructure required for the next stage of growth.Your remit will include:Ownership of management reporting, budgeting and forecastingBuilding scalable finance processes, systems and controlsLeading year-end, audit and financial reportingOversight of AP, AR, payroll, VAT and treasuryCash flow management and longer-term financial planningImproving and automating finance processesPartnering with senior stakeholders across the organisationSupporting wider strategic and operational projectsHelping define how the finance function develops as the organisation growsWhat we're looking for:You'll be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with strong, broad finance experience and the confidence to operate in a fast-moving environment without a large support structure already around you.You could currently be a Senior Finance Manager or Financial Controller who has reached the point where you're ready for considerably more ownership and influence.Experience within a start-up, scale-up, technology, professional services or similarly fast-paced organisation would be particularly relevant.Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys building rather than maintaining.
