They manage a broad and diverse portfolio of assets across the globe.In this role, you'll sit at the heart of the finance team, owning financial control processes, keeping reporting accurate, and making sure everything stays compliant with regulatory standards. It's a good mix of strategic input, hands-on financial oversight, and team leadership.What will I be doing?Redesign and implement financial control frameworks, policies, and internal audit procedures to safeguard data integrity and ensure GAAP/IFRS complianceOwn the monthly close process, reviewing consolidated financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for accuracy against reconciliations and variance analysisLead external audit cycles end to end, managing PBC lists, walkthroughs, and remediation of findings with auditorsBuild and monitor risk controls across financial transactions and reporting, identifying exposure and implementing mitigation frameworksManage and upskill the financial control team through technical training, performance reviews, and career development planningPartner with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to inform strategic decisionsWho are they looking for?Qualified accountant (ACA/CA preferred)Proven experience in a senior financial reporting role within the financial services industry, with at least 5 years of experience.Prior experience of working within alternative asset management.Strong understanding of various different reporting standards, including IFRS & UK GAAPAdvanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).Exceptional communication and presentation skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment.Strategic mindset and the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.What’s on offer?£120-140,000 base salary, dependant on experience.Competitive annual bonus plan.Free lunches when in office.Comprehensive healthcare and wellness programs.Retirement savings plans and investment options.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.Collaborative and inclusive work environment.Employee assistance programs and various employee perks.
