Head of Financial Planning & Analysis - Hertfordshire JSS are pleased to be supporting our client based in Hertfordshire on the recruitment of a new Head of FP&A role. This is an ideal for someone experienced FP&A Manager with experience in large fast paced businesses, who knows what good looks like, has strong experience managing and delivering budgets and forecasts and working with senior stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a high-calibre Head of FP&A to lead and own the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes across a dynamic and fast paced business. The role will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, delivering insightful analysis and supporting commercial and strategic decision making across the organisation.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious FP&A professional who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders, improving planning processes and providing meaningful financial insight that influence real world business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and own the budget process, coordinating submissions from multiple business units and consolidating financial plans.Own the reforecasting cycle, ensuring accurate and timely forecasting of revenue, costs, cash flow and profitability.Deliver variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year performance, identifying key risks and opportunities.Partner with operational and commercial leaders to challenge assumptions and improve forecast accuracy.Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions and business cases.Analyse key business drivers, trends and KPIs to support performance improvement.Support long-term planning and scenario modelling activities.Drive continuous improvement of planning, forecasting and reporting processes.Manage a develop the FP&A teamProfile:Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) 6-8 years post qualifiedProven FP&A Manager experience: ideally in a multi-site, retail, FMCG, supply chain environmentStrong experience leading annual budgeting and quarterly/monthly forecasting processes.Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.Ability to translate financial information into clear business insights.Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior leadership teams.Advanced Excel capabilities; experience with Power BI is idealOn Offer:A salary of between £100,000-£110,000, plus car allowance, 15% bonus, benefits and hybrid working
