Head of Financial Reporting

Job DescriptionEnsuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of Cenomi Centers' financial reporting processes. Ensures adherence to international and local accounting standards while providing critical financial insights to support decision-making.Key ResponsibilityLead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and ensure timely financial close.Ensure compliance with IFRS, SOCPA, and other applicable accounting standards and policies.Manage financial consolidation, account reconciliations, and reporting across subsidiaries and business units.Review financial statements, project accounting, forecasts, and cost analyses.Oversee ERP accounting systems in collaboration with the IT team.Coordinate external audits and provide support to auditors throughout the audit process.Support Zakat and VAT requirements and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting.Review the fair valuation of investment properties and related financial assumptions.Perform additional duties and special financial analyses as required by management.Job QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Professional accounting qualification e.g. CPA, CIMA, CA, ACCAMaster's degree in accounting is preferred8+ years of experience of financial accounting and management accounting experience including 2 to 3 years in a management roleUnderstanding of listed companies' regulatory requirements, CMA regulations and accounting standards (e.g. SOCPA, IFRS, GAAP and IAS)Experience of accounting within real estate or related industry is preferredExperience in complex Group-wide accounting & reporting, preferably in a publicly listed companyKnowledge of and ability to apply international accounting standards and ERP systems
