Company: Great Sierra Development Corporation (GSDC)Level: Senior Manager - AVPSchedule: Monday to SaturdayAbout the RoleGSDC is looking for an experienced and hands-on Head of Fleet & Asset Management to lead the maintenance, repair, assignment, utilization, and overall availability of our trucking fleet.Our fleet consists of 6-Wheel Closed Vans, 10-Wheel Wing Vans, Tractor Heads, and Trailers supporting different operations and accounts.The role oversees three critical areas: Fleet Maintenance & Motor Pool, Spare Parts Warehouse, and Truck Assignment & Utilization.The primary objective is to ensure that trucks are repaired on time, properly maintained, efficiently assigned across operations, and utilized as much as possible, while maintaining effective control of spare-parts inventory.Key ResponsibilitiesFleet Maintenance & Motor PoolEnsure on-time completion of truck repairs and minimize unnecessary vehicle downtime.Monitor trucks under repair from initial diagnosis through parts availability, repair, testing, and release back to operations.Establish and monitor clear Repair Turnaround Time (TAT) targets.Implement effective preventive and corrective maintenance programs.Analyze recurring breakdowns, repeat repairs, and back jobs and implement corrective actions.Manage the company's in-house motor pool, including mechanics, maintenance personnel, work scheduling, repair priorities, and productivity.Spare Parts Warehouse ManagementOversee the company's spare-parts warehouse, including receiving, storage, issuance, replenishment, and inventory accuracy.Ensure critical and fast-moving parts are readily available to prevent delays in truck repairs.Establish appropriate minimum and maximum inventory levels and reorder points.Monitor stock-outs, slow-moving, obsolete, and excessive inventory.Maintain proper controls over parts issuance and ensure parts are properly charged and documented against specific truck repairs.Analyze parts consumption and identify unusual or excessive usage.Truck Assignment & Fleet UtilizationOversee the assignment and allocation of trucks across the company's different operations teams and accounts.Maintain visibility of which trucks are assigned/rented, available/unrented, under repair, or temporarily unavailable.Coordinate closely with Operations teams to properly allocate available trucks based on operational requirements.Facilitate the reallocation of available or unrented trucks to other operations where additional units are required.Monitor idle and underutilized trucks and work with Operations to maximize fleet deployment.Ensure truck assignments are properly documented and updated whenever units are transferred between operations or accounts.Balance operational requirements with maintenance schedules to ensure truck assignments do not compromise preventive maintenance.Provide management with regular visibility of total fleet, rented/assigned units, unrented/available units, units under repair, and overall fleet utilization.Cost, Control & ComplianceMonitor maintenance costs, repair expenses, spare-parts consumption, and cost per truck.Maintain complete records of repair history, preventive maintenance, parts replaced, and truck assignments.Ensure fleet compliance with LTO requirements, permits, company safety standards, and operating requirements.Conduct regular physical inspections of the motor pool, trucks under repair, spare-parts warehouse, and available fleet.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Management, or related fieldStrong managerial experience in fleet management, trucking operations, transport operations, or fleet maintenanceExperience managing an in-house motor pool and spare-parts warehouseStrong working knowledge of 6W and 10W trucks, tractor heads, and trailersGood understanding of truck maintenance, preventive maintenance, repair scheduling, and troubleshootingExperience in fleet assignment, dispatch, truck allocation, or fleet utilization managementStrong analytical skills and ability to manage fleet performance using data and KPIsComfortable using fleet, maintenance, inventory, and internally developed monitoring systemsStrong leadership, coordination, and decision-making skillsMust be hands-on and willing to regularly inspect the actual operationWilling to be assigned in Norzagaray, BulacanWhat We’re Looking ForWe need a leader who has real-time visibility of the fleet.At any given time, this person should be able to answer:How many trucks do we have?

How many are assigned or rented? How many are available or unrented? How many are under repair? Why are they under repair? When will they be released? What parts are needed? Where can available trucks be reassigned to maximize utilization?The goal is to maintain high truck availability, fast repair turnaround, strong spare-parts control, and maximum fleet utilization across all operations.
