Head of Fulfillment – ConfidentialImportant – Please Read Before ApplyingThis is a confidential senior leadership opportunity for an experienced eCommerce Fulfillment leader.We are specifically looking for candidates with direct experience managing high-volume B2C eCommerce fulfillment operations. Please review the requirements carefully before applying, as candidates who do not meet the mandatory fulfillment experience will not be considered.Role OverviewThe Head of Fulfillment will be responsible for leading and optimizing high-volume eCommerce fulfillment operations, ensuring operational excellence, service quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, and achievement of fulfillment performance targets.The role will lead fulfillment operations across multiple sites, manage large operational teams, and drive continuous improvement across processes, technology, workforce productivity, and fulfillment performance.Key Responsibilities• Lead end-to-end fulfillment operations across multiple fulfillment sites.• Manage high-volume B2C eCommerce fulfillment operations and ensure consistent operational performance.• Lead large warehouse operations teams, ensuring clear accountability, productivity, and high performance.• Drive fulfillment performance through operational KPIs, service levels, productivity, inventory accuracy, and order processing performance.• Optimize warehouse processes, workflows, labor productivity, and operational capacity to support business growth.• Oversee the effective use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse automation technologies.• Ensure high standards of inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and operational execution.• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and performance standards.• Identify operational gaps and lead continuous improvement initiatives across fulfillment processes, technology, and workforce management.• Work cross-functionally with relevant commercial, customer, technology, and operational teams to ensure fulfillment capacity and performance are aligned with business requirements.• Monitor operational issues and implement corrective actions to maintain service levels and customer experience.Mandatory ExperienceTo be considered, applicants must have:• 8–15 years of experience specifically in eCommerce fulfillment operations.• Proven experience managing high-volume B2C eCommerce fulfillment centers.• Direct experience leading large-scale fulfillment operations teams.• Experience leading multiple fulfillment sites.• Experience with an eCommerce retailer or an eCommerce-focused 3PL is strongly preferred.• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), warehouse automation, labor productivity, inventory accuracy, and fulfillment KPIs.• Proven experience managing operational performance in a high-volume fulfillment environment.Candidates We Are NOT Looking ForApplications will NOT be considered from candidates whose experience is primarily in:• Transportation• Freight Forwarding• Fleet Operations• Linehaul• Manufacturing• Traditional Warehousing• Distribution• Procurement• Supply Chain Planning• General Logistics without direct eCommerce Fulfillment experienceIf your experience is primarily in the areas listed above and you do not have direct, hands-on experience managing high-volume B2C eCommerce fulfillment operations, please do not apply.ConfidentialityThis is a confidential recruitment process.
