As part of the continued growth and transformation of its global procurement function, the organisation is seeking an experienced procurement leader to head its global commodity procurement organisation.You will provide strategic leadership across multiple global commodity groups, driving procurement performance, supplier strategy, cost competitiveness and supply resilience across the organisation.The role will work closely with senior stakeholders across Engineering, R&D, Operations, Product and Finance to shape sourcing strategies, influence product decisions and deliver long-term commercial value.Key Responsibilities:Lead multiple global commodity groups and develop a high-performing team of senior procurement professionals.Own strategic direction and performance of commodity spend across multiple product categories.Develop long-term commodity strategies aligned with product requirements, technology roadmaps and business objectives.Drive cost-down programmes, budget efficiency and commercial value through strategic sourcing, should-cost analysis, benchmarking and negotiation.Build and maintain strategic relationships with key global and China-based suppliers, including EMS/JDM partners.Develop multi-sourcing and supplier resilience strategies to mitigate supply, geopolitical, tariff and component risks.Partner with Engineering, R&D, Product, Operations and Finance to influence sourcing and product decisions from the early stages of development.Lead supplier performance management and senior-level supplier relationships.Oversee commercial negotiations, supplier contracts and commercial governance.Drive supplier sustainability and responsible sourcing initiatives.Collaborate with procurement project teams to ensure material availability throughout product development and launch milestones.Lead procurement transformation initiatives and build a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvement.Key Requirements:15+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain or commercial experience.5+ years of global commodity leadership experience, ideally managing multiple commodity groups.Proven experience leading managers and senior procurement professionals across geographically distributed teams.Experience managing US$500M+ annual spend or comparable scale and complexity.Strong experience across electronics, motors, batteries, electrical/electromechanical components and/or related technology commodities.Strong exposure to the EMS/JDM ecosystem and both international and China-local suppliers.Deep understanding of supply markets, supplier ecosystems and technology/product roadmaps.Demonstrated success leading significant cost-down and strategic sourcing programmes.Strong commercial negotiation, contract management and supplier governance capabilities.Proven track record in multi-sourcing, supply resilience and supplier risk management.Strong stakeholder management skills, with credibility and influence across Engineering, R&D, Operations, Finance and senior leadership.Strategic and analytical mindset combined with strong execution capabilities.Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing procurement teams through transformation and change.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, IT or a related discipline; Master's degree/MBA preferred.Only successful candidates will be notified.EA License no.: 16S8066
