Robot24.com is a robotics news, broadcasting, and marketplace platform, currently pre-launch. We're building the go-to destination for robotics coverage: news, video, and a marketplace layer, aimed at a global audience. The tech and editorial teams are in place. What's missing is the growth engine that takes this from a great product to a platform with real reach on launch day and beyond.## About the RoleWe're hiring a Head of Growth to build that engine from scratch and scale it fast. The mandate is simple to state and hard to execute: take Robot24.com from zero audience to hundreds of millions of views and impressions across social platforms, primarily through organic content and distribution, not paid spend. You will own the full growth function, from strategy to execution to the team you eventually build around you. This is not a role for someone who has managed or optimised an existing growth machine. It's a role for someone who has built one, from a blank page, and has the platform-specific expertise to make organic content travel at scale.## What You'll Own**Organic Growth Strategy**- Define and execute the organic growth strategy across the Robot24.com website and every social platform we publish to: YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook- Build platform-specific playbooks: what drives distribution on each platform differs by algorithm, format, and audience behaviour, and your strategy needs to reflect that, not treat every platform the same- Own the content distribution model: how a single piece of robotics coverage becomes native content across every channel, not just a repost**Scale and Reach**- Take audience reach from zero to hundreds of millions of cumulative views and impressions across social platforms- Identify and exploit the specific growth levers each platform rewards (short-form video mechanics, algorithmic discovery, trending and sound/format cycles, community and engagement signals) and adapt as those levers shift- Build repeatable systems for content that performs, not one-off viral moments**Website and Owned Channels**- Drive organic website traffic growth through SEO, on-site content strategy, and technical SEO fundamentals- Build owned-audience infrastructure (email, community, app, or equivalent) so growth isn't rented entirely from third-party platforms**Paid Media**- Use paid media as a targeted, secondary lever, for specific launches, tests, or gaps organic can't close on its own timeline- Ensure paid spend is measured and justified, not a crutch for organic underperformance**Measurement and Reporting**- Define the KPI framework for growth at this scale: reach, views, impressions, engagement, follower growth, website traffic, and conversion into the marketplace product- Build the reporting layer the founders use to make channel, content, and budget decisions- Run experimentation: test formats, hooks, posting cadence, and channels systematically, not by instinct alone## What We're Looking For**Must-haves**- Proven 0-to-1 experience: you have built a growth function or channel from scratch at a startup or early-stage company. Scaling an existing, established growth machine does not meet this bar- A demonstrable track record of scaling organic reach to real scale, ideally hundreds of millions of views or impressions, with numbers you can show and speak to in detail- Deep, current, hands-on knowledge of how major social platforms' algorithms and content formats actually drive distribution (not theoretical, practitioner-level)- Working knowledge of paid media and performance marketing, used deliberately and sparingly in support of organic, not as the default strategy- Comfort building without a playbook, and building the playbook as you go- Strong content instincts: you can look at a piece of content and know why it will or won't travel**Strongly preferred**- Experience growing a platform through a pre-launch or early-launch phase specifically, not just steady-state growth- Familiarity with or genuine interest in robotics, tech, or science content (robotics industry expertise itself is not required)**Not a fit**- Growth track record that is primarily paid-spend-driven with limited organic component- Experience limited to scaling or optimising growth functions that someone else built- No evidence of having driven reach or audience numbers at meaningful scale## What Success Looks Like- 6 months: growth function and playbooks are live, platform-specific content strategy is running across all major social channels, early traction is measurable and trending up- 12 months: audience reach is scaling toward the hundreds-of-millions mark across platforms, website organic traffic is a meaningful and growing channel, and a small team is in place executing the playbook
