Job Title: Head of HR, APACLocation: Hong Kong Industry: International B2B Tourism & HospitalityReporting Line: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)Role OverviewThe Head of HR, APAC serves as the executive human resources leader overseeing regional people operations, organizational design, total rewards, and compliance across multiple Asia-Pacific locations. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this position acts as a core strategic partner to executive leadership, driving workforce alignment, employee engagement, and operational governance to support broader commercial goals.Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive Partnership & Strategic Workforce AlignmentServe as a primary advisor to the CEO and leadership team on organizational structure, executive succession, and high-level people strategy.Define and execute the regional human resources framework to ensure operational efficiency, cultural cohesion, and organizational agility.Lead organizational change initiatives, restructuring projects, and cross-border integration strategies across regional entities.Total Rewards & Executive CompensationOversee regional compensation and benefits (C&B) strategies, executive remuneration packages, and performance-based incentive frameworks.Lead annual salary reviews, regional market benchmarking, and performance appraisal workflows.Ensure reward strategies remain competitive and aligned with local market dynamics across operating locations.Governance, Compliance & Risk ManagementMitigate organizational, legal, and operational risks by ensuring adherence to statutory employment standards across all operating jurisdictions.Establish consistent regional HR policies, operational handbooks, and standards of conduct tailored to local statutory requirements.Direct high-level employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and internal workplace investigations.HR Operations & Digital TransformationOversee regional HR operational workflows, payroll oversight, and benefits administration across all regional satellite branches.Drive continuous improvement of HRIS platforms, operational processes, and reporting data to deliver predictive analytics to executive leadership.Develop and implement regional learning, development, and leadership capability programs.Qualifications & ExperienceExperience: Minimum 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including substantial experience leading regional HR operations across multi-market Asia-Pacific environments.Leadership Capabilities: Proven track record of operating as a trusted advisor to C-suite/CEO levels with strong commercial and financial acumen.Geographic Scope: In-depth familiarity with multi-jurisdictional labor regulations, employment practices, and compliance standards across Asia-Pacific markets.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline; Master’s degree or executive HR certification preferred.Language Skills: Fluency in English alongside regional business languages (e.g., Cantonese, Mandarin).
