Apply & track with Apply EdgeOur client, a high-growth medical device contract manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Global Head of Human Resources. Reporting directly to OpCo leadership, this role combines high-level strategic advisory with hands-on operational leadership.The Global Head of HR will modernize human resources operations, drive organizational design, standardize performance management systems, and guide HR strategy through future international expansion.Key AccountabilitiesStrategic Business Partnership: Serve as a core advisor to OpCo leadership, member of the OpCo Executive Leadership Team and parent company’s HR leadership community, aligning HR strategy with aggressive business growth and operational goals.Global Footprint Expansion: Oversee HR compliance, labor relations, and organizational integration for geographic expansion into Mexico and/or the Dominican Republic.Organizational Design & Modernization: Drive org design, talent mapping, and process standardization, integrating HR tools with parent company (Heraeus) expectations.Functional Leadership: Direct a team of 7–8+ professionals spanning HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Generalists, Employee Health & Safety, Benefits, and Compensation.Workforce & Culture Engagement: Enhance direct-labor engagement, employer branding, and performance management across multi-shift plant operations.Candidate QualificationsIndustry Experience: 10+ years of HR leadership in a manufacturing, multi-shift, direct-labor environment (Medical Device / regulated manufacturing strongly preferred).Cross-Border Growth: Demonstrated experience supporting global expansions, international labor laws, and cross-border teams.Process & Org Design: Proven success introducing structured HR processes, data-driven tools, and scalable organizational frameworks.Leadership Style: Entrepreneurial, process-oriented, and highly visible, with a willingness to "walk the floor" and maintain an active on-site presence.Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.If interested, please submit the following information:Updated resumeWhy are you looking to leave your current role, or if in transition, why?Provide a short blurb on your demonstrated success in the areas listed above.Provide a short blurb on your experience leading other leaders, developing diverse talent, and driving a culture of accountability and inclusion.Confirm you have 10+ years’ experience in a manufacturing, multi-shift, direct-labor environment (Medical Device / regulated manufacturing strongly preferred).Confirm your ability to work onsite in Dayton, Ohio, and travel internationally 1-2 times per year.Provide your salary requirements.
