The recently appointed MD has a strong senior leadership team which he is looking to supplement by introducing this new role of Head of HR.Operating from a single site with a five-day shift pattern the team prides itself on a friendly, proactive approach and works to build a collaborative environment.

About the Role

As Head of HR, you lead and execute the organisations people strategy, shaping a roadmap and inspiring and leading the team in its execution. The Head of HR will be accountable for operational, HR performance and will play an instrumental role in the evolution of the business over the next few years, playing a key leadership role providing direction and support to the rest of the Senior Leadership Team.Leading a small, dedicated HR team business partnering, your role will be diverse, and you’ll support the whole employee’s lifecycle: Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations of the business ensuring effective administration for payroll governance, compliance and workplace operations. Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives. Lead employee relations, ensuring effective resolution of complex workplace matters.Lead workforce planning, recruitment, succession planning and talent management initiatives. About You: You’ll be an experienced HR Professional, CIPD Level 7 qualified or equivalent, who has key strengths as an ambassador for the function and the ability to effectively influence multiple stakeholders internally and Group interfaces. You will be excited by the opportunity to take on a senior varied HR manufacturing role leading a team across the full people agenda. Specifically, you’ll: Have 15 years progressive HR experience, including leadership and change management Track record of leading HR in a manufacturing, engineering, production or industrial environment Have a strong business partnering approach, leading solutions led HR across employee relations, payroll, compliance and administration Experienced in successfully operating and working with trade unions The role provides the opportunity to get involved in an exciting international organisation evolving and growing; we are looking for someone ambitious and keen to lead HR and develop their career.
