Head of HRLocation: Dubai, UAEReporting To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)About the CompanyOur client is a dynamic and growing business group with interests across general trading, hospitality, and building materials. With a strong focus on business growth and operational excellence, the company is seeking an experienced Head of HR to lead the overall human resources function across all three entities.Role OverviewThe Head of HR will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the group's business objectives. This role will oversee all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, organizational development, employee engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits, and HR operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic yet hands-on HR leader capable of supporting business growth, strengthening organizational culture, and ensuring effective people management across multiple business entities.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the group's overall business objectives.Oversee the HR function across Nina General Trading, Nina Hospitality, and Builtrite, ensuring consistency and alignment across all entities.Lead end-to-end talent acquisition, workforce planning, and recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.Partner with senior leadership on organizational structure, succession planning, manpower budgeting, and talent development.Establish and manage performance management systems, employee development initiatives, and career progression frameworks.Oversee compensation and benefits, salary benchmarking, payroll coordination, and employee incentive programmes.Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and applicable employment regulations across all entities.Drive employee engagement, retention, organizational culture, and employee relations initiatives.Manage HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employment contracts, leave management, and HR documentation.Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, improve operational efficiency, and implement best practices across the group.Provide strategic HR advice to the COO and senior management on people-related matters, organizational effectiveness, and workforce challenges.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification or HR certification is an advantage.At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience in a senior HR leadership role.Proven experience managing the HR function across multiple business units or entities.Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, HR policies, and employment practices.Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and organizational development.Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills.Ability to balance strategic HR planning with hands-on operational execution in a dynamic business environment.Fluency in English is essential.
