The regional operation is expected to grow significantly over the next 4–5 years, creating an opportunity to shape the people strategy and HR infrastructure from an early stage.Operating in an infrastructure-related and operationally complex environment, the business supports large-scale regional activities where reliability, execution, safety, and strong people practices are critical to success.We are seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources to lead the people strategy across Southeast Asia. This is a highly hands-on generalist role suited to someone comfortable operating in a growing and relatively unstructured environment. The successful candidate will build HR processes and frameworks from the ground up, partner closely with senior leadership, and support the scaling of a diverse regional workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and scale HR policies, systems, and frameworks across Southeast Asian operations.Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational design to support regional growth and expansion.Lead learning & development initiatives across leadership, operational, technical, and functional employee populations.Build career pathways, succession planning, and talent development frameworks to strengthen leadership and technical talent pipelines.Develop and institutionalize performance management frameworks that drive accountability and high performance.Support organizational development, change management, and cultural integration as the business scales across multiple markets.Develop employee engagement and retention strategies suitable for diverse operational and corporate workforces.Monitor workforce analytics, HR metrics, manpower planning, and talent KPIs to support business decision-making.Act as a trusted HR advisor to senior management, providing guidance on organizational, talent, and people-related matters.Ensure compliance with regional employment regulations while developing pragmatic policies appropriate for a growing business.
Key Qualifications
10–15 years of progressive HR experience, including regional exposure across Asia.Strong generalist HR background with experience across talent management, organizational development, performance management, and employee engagement.Demonstrated experience building or significantly developing HR structures, frameworks, and policies within a growing or changing organization.Exposure to infrastructure, engineering, energy, utilities, transportation, logistics, industrial, construction, or other operationally complex environments would be advantageous.Comfortable supporting a mix of corporate, operational, technical, and project-based employee populations.Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and advise senior leadership.Experience supporting organizational change, regional expansion, workforce scaling, or transformation initiatives.Comfortable operating in a hands-on environment where processes and structures are still being developed.
