This role is accountable for establishing a high-performing India-based IAM organization, transitioning services into India, and delivering secure, reliable, and compliant IAM operations aligned with global cybersecurity, risk, and regulatory requirements.The successful candidate will combine deep IAM expertise with strong organizational leadership, operational excellence, and service transformation capabilities while partnering closely with global IAM leadership to drive continuous improvement and capability growth.Key Responsibilities:Build and lead the India IAM organization, establishing operating models, governance processes, service ownership, performance standards, and workforce capabilities.Lead the transition and expansion of IAM services into India, ensuring operational readiness, knowledge transfer, service stabilization, and continuous improvement while maintaining service continuity and control effectiveness.Oversee the delivery of IAM services including identity lifecycle management, access provisioning, access certifications, privileged access management, authentication services, and platform support operations.Drive operational excellence through service-level management, automation, AI-enabled improvements, workforce planning, reporting, risk management, and process optimization.Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, regulatory obligations, audit requirements, and internal controls through effective governance, issue remediation, and risk management practices.Partner with global IAM leadership, cybersecurity teams, technology organizations, vendors, auditors, and business stakeholders to align priorities, resolve operational challenges, and support strategic initiatives.Required Qualifications:15+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Technology Operations, or related disciplines.Proven experience leading enterprise IAM services, shared services organizations, or large-scale identity and access management functions within global environments.Demonstrated success building teams, establishing operating models, managing service transitions, and scaling technology organizations.Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle management, identity governance, access provisioning, access certifications, privileged access management, authentication, authorization, and access control frameworks.Experience managing service delivery, workforce planning, vendor management, governance, operational performance, and service-level agreements.Strong understanding of cybersecurity risk management, regulatory compliance, audit requirements, technology controls, and operational resiliency.Experience driving automation, digital transformation, service modernization, and operational efficiency initiatives.Strong leadership, executive communication, stakeholder management, organizational development, and decision-making skills.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.IAM Technologies: SailPoint, CyberArk, IGA platforms, PAM solutions, directory services, authentication platforms, cloud identity, machine identities, secrets management, identity threat detection, workflow automation, ITSM platforms, analytics, and IAM automation technologies.Preferred Qualifications:Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries.Experience leading global capability centers, shared services organizations, or large India-based technology teams.Experience transitioning services from managed service providers to internal delivery organizations.Knowledge of cloud identity, zero trust, machine identities, just-in-time access, identity threat detection, and modern identity security practices.Familiarity with Agile, DevSecOps, automation, and AI-enabled service delivery models.Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, SailPoint, CyberArk, or equivalent.Company Overview:Mizuho Pune is an integral part of Mizuho Financial Group, one of the world’s leading financial institutions with a strong global presence across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia.
