Head of Infrastructure

Role Description The Head of Infrastructure is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT and network infrastructure. This role involves designing and optimizing infrastructure architecture to support digital marketing operations, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of systems and services. The Head of Infrastructure will manage IT service delivery, coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues, and implement policies and procedures that support secure and efficient operations. Daily tasks include monitoring infrastructure health, managing upgrades and changes, driving infrastructure-related projects, and providing guidance to technical team members on best practices and standards.QualificationsStrong infrastructure management skills, including experience with system architecture, cloud services, and network design.Demonstrated IT service management capabilities, with experience in incident, problem, and change management processes.Proven team leadership skills, including mentoring technical staff, setting priorities, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.Solid knowledge of network security, including firewalls, access controls, encryption, and compliance with security best practices.Effective project management skills, with experience planning and executing infrastructure initiatives on time and within budget.Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience in supporting technology for digital marketing or online agencies is beneficial.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
