The Head of Insights builds and owns the insights engine behind Mayora’s Philippine portfolio (Coffee, Cereals & Choco Drink, Snack Food). This role anchors brand and category strategy in consumer penetration, consumption occasions, shopper behavior, and other related fields.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain a consumer & category intelligence framework spanning all categories, using syndicated data (Kantar Worldpanel, Nielsen) and primary researchTrack and report penetration, consumption occasions, and volume-per-buyer as the core growth indicators behind brand and category plansLead shopper behavior research specific to sari-sari and other traditional trade formats, informing distribution and pack-format decisionsPartner with category brand teams to translate insights into brand plans, NPD priorities, and prioritized growth initiativesMaintain competitive intelligence — market share, ad spend (AdEx), and digital/social listening — across key category competitorsOwn vendor relationships and budget for insight partners (e.g. Kantar, Nielsen) and primary research suppliersPresent insight-led recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic and annual planningOther insights-related assignments.Qualifications8-12+ years of FMCG marketing or consumer insights experience, with demonstrated ownership of an insights function or equivalent scopeRequired SkillsHands-on experience with various research data and partners (ie Worldpanel, Nielsen, or comparable syndicated panel data, as well as other qualitative initiatives)Strong quantitative and analytical skill — comfortable building frameworks directly from raw panel data, not just consuming vendor reportsExperience in Philippine or broader Southeast Asian FMCG markets strongly preferredStrong storytelling and stakeholder management skills — able to translate data into a strategic narrative for CEO/CMO-level audiences
